Shelby, NC – HomeTrust Bank has announced the appointment of Derek Fox as Mortgage Loan Officer for Shelby and Cherryville.

According to Mary Kate Rikard, Lending Manager for HomeTrust, “Derek has considerable experience in banking and consumer underwriting, having worked at HomeTrust for more than nine years.  He also has experience as a realtor, thus adding another dimension to help customers with the process of applying and getting a mortgage. We’re delighted to have him on our team.”

Fox has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Appalachian State University and an MBA in Finance and Banking from Gardner-Webb University. He is a life-long resident of Cleveland County.
